Meet the author

Dr. Luis Ángel Díaz Andino

He accepted Christ at the age of seven and reaffirmed his faith at fourteen. Since 1983, he has served as a pastor in the Church of God in El Salvador, dedicating more than four decades to the church, leadership development, and service to his country.

01 · Ministry

A life of service and leadership

Within the denomination, he has served as local youth president, pastor, Christian education teacher, national youth director, national coordinator of extension education, and director of the Bible Institute. He also served as Assistant Overseer of the Western Zone and as a member of executive committees and various ministerial commissions. From 2010 to 2018, he served as National Overseer of the Church of God in El Salvador, promoting substantial changes to guide the church toward serving the country through the message of salvation.

02 · Family

A shared legacy

He is married to Ana Luisa Madrid de Díaz and is the father of Luis Arístides Díaz Madrid and Ingrid Saraí Díaz Madrid. Both serve in GDS Band as preachers and psalmists and hold international credentials from the Church of God.

03 · Education

Theology, education, and leadership

His education includes diplomas in church leadership and administration, cell group ministry, strategic management, and Christian education, as well as studies in Theology and Ministry, Education Sciences, and Religious Sciences. He holds a master's degree in University Teaching, a postgraduate qualification in Leadership and Management, a doctorate in Ministerial Leadership, and a doctorate in Philosophy of Education.

04 · Today

Generación de Salvación

He currently pastors the Generación de Salvación Church of God, located in the El Retiro neighborhood on the road to Mariona. From there, he continues serving God and encouraging spiritual and social transformation in local communities.
